Charities in Twitter storm over balloon releases

Charities are being urged to abandon balloon releases in a Twitter a campaign.
Compact Voice has launched its first annual survey to gather up-to-date information about the state of all local Compacts across England, in order to help Compact Voice better understand how they are working.
The survey will identifying where the Compact is working well to help communities build stronger partnerships, and where improvement is needed.
The survey is open until 12 July, 2011, and Compact Voice are encouraging anyone with knowledge of their local Compact to take part. The survey can be taken here.
