Charities in Twitter storm over balloon releases
24 May 2012
Charities are being urged to abandon balloon releases in a Twitter a campaign.
Communications agency Band & Brown is inviting nominations from health and wellbeing charities to receive its pro-bono support in 2010.
The company has set aside 2 per cent of its profits to be used in fee time by the successful applicant.
Previous recipients of the North London agency’s support include Beatbullying, Advocates for International Development and domestic violence charity RISE. But this is the first year Band & Brown has opened a nationwide application process.
A shortlist based on outlined selection criteria will be put to a vote by staff in the week beginning 5 July.
The deadline for applications is 30 June. Interested charities can apply here.
