Volunteering charity CSV has appointed Ruth Jenkins as its new director of finance following the retirement of former director Chris Snelling.
Jenkins, who joins from a director of finance role at the Homeless Link, started her relationship with CSV as a volunteer, before becoming an executive assistant at CSV in the early 2000s.
Speaking about her job ahead, Jenkins said: “I’m really looking forward to returning to CSV to help make it easier for staff and volunteers to make a difference in the communities where they operate.
"I’ve always been impressed how CSV helps children at risk, improves the lives of older people and enables citizens to have a positive impact in schools, hospitals, prisons, libraries and social services.
"One of my key aims will be to make the information in our financial reports easier to absorb and more relevant and useable.”
