NCVO relaunches website

NCVO’s new look website aims to offer up to the minute news, details of issues affecting all charities and information about relevant publications and events. In addition to an improved search engine and more user-friendly navigation, the new site will enable NCVO to provide member-only content as a further a benefit of its community membership scheme.

www.ncvo-vol.org.uk was designed by web development agency Nvisage. The new information architecture is based on user feedback and web stats.

Simon Cope, NCVO’s online services development manager, said: "We hope that the new site will be much easier to navigate. Around 85 per cent of what our visitors come to the website for will be just one click away from the homepage. The new content management system gives us greater control over content and structure, and will act as a platform for us to develop and improve our range of online services, particularly e-commerce."
