Paul Mewett is head of internet intelligence at business and finance providers Grant Thornton UK LLP.
Paul has vast experience in the use of state-of-the-art search technologies and complex data mining tools. He uses this, combined with a traditional intelligence background, to harvest relevant information from the depths of the internet. His most recent experience is in managing intelligence based engagements encompassing protection of brand value, reputation due diligence, protection of IP, asset searches, counterfeiting of luxury goods and fraud.
Over the years Paul has worked with large corporations, governments and law enforcement agencies in many parts of the world. Prior to this, Paul had a military career focused on the areas of intelligence and electronics. Paul also has experience in running computer forensics and eDisclosure based projects.
