Jo Coleman
Partner, IBB
Jo Coleman is a partner at IBB solicitors' charities and not for profit practice having left the charity & community team at Farrer & Co in September 2010.
She began her career as a corporate lawyer and after joining the firm’s charities team she has focused on the corporate side of the charities practice, particularly in mergers and transactions between charities and their corporate partners.
Coleman has worked on many Charity Commission investigations, advised charities facing financial difficulties and has experience advising on many different types of collaborative projects between charities. During 2009 Coleman, along with Anne-Marie Piper and the KPMG team, advised on the merger of the national Age Concern charities and Help the Aged.
