Director of Finance and Corporate services, BMS World Mission
David Locke is the director of finance and corporate services at BMS World Mission where he enjoys leading a team with a broad portfolio of responsibilities from Investments to Information Technology. BMS is a Christian charity working in over thirty of the neediest countries of the world.
Before moving into the charity sector, David was at Ernst & Young working on major IT projects around the world and he qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in Birmingham.
David’s other current roles include serving as a trustee of the Charity Aid Foundation (CAF) and chair of the Audit Committee of NCVO. David continues to be actively involved in his local community and served as chair of governors for Didcot Girls School (2004 – 2012).
David is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a certified information systems auditor and holds an honours degree in Economics from Newcastle University
