David Emerson
Chief executive, Association of Charitable Foundations (ACF) from 2003
David Emerson has, since 2003, been chief executive of the Association of Charitable Foundations, the professional membership association for the UK’s charitable trusts and grantmaking foundations.
His previous experience includes running the trade association for regional theatre in the UK; working for the NCVO; working in theatrical management and production in the West End; and with Rural Community Councils.
He is married to Baroness Jill Pitkeathley OBE, the chair of CHRE.
