Associate, charities and philanthropy team, Withers
Alana Lowe-Petraske is an associate in the charities and philanthropy team at Withers LLP. She advises both charities and their donors on a wide range of legal, fiscal, regulatory and compliance issues, with a particular focus on tax-efficient giving by corporate and individual philanthropists. Alana also specialises in international structures and transactions, including the establishment of dual-qualified charity structures which enable tax-efficient giving in the US and the UK.
Alana is a member of the Charity Law Association, the Association of Women Solicitors and is currently a member of the Charity Tax Group's Working Group on the Finance Act 2010.
