Head of charity effectiveness, New Philanthropy Capital

Iona Joy is head of charity effectiveness at New Philanthropy Capital, and her main interest lies in health.

She was previously a senior research analyst at NPC.

Prior to joining NPC, Iona had a career in venture capital with the Commonwealth Development Corporation in London, Uganda and Singapore after training as a merchant banker at Samuel Montagu. She is a director of The Funding Network.
