Consultant and interim CEO
Colin is a consultant and interim CEO with experience at numerous charities.
In a voluntary capacity he is a trustee of the New Economics Foundation (Nef) and the Karen Woo Foundation, a trust supporting health projects for women and children in Afghanistan.
Colin has been chief executive of the Consortium of Street Children and interim executive director of Marr-Munning Trust, an independent grant-making trust.
He has also been chief executive of two award-winning national charities (NAM Publications 1996-2001, Charities Evaluation Services 2001-2009. The latter won the award for effectiveness at the 2008 Charity Awards for its achievement in increasing the impact of the charity sector.

Colin Nee argues innovation isn’t enough. Now that political debate about public spending has moved from the synthetic argument about whether savings will be made to how, there is space and an urgent need to focus on how to shape the post-recession economy. Innovation could be key to driving future growth but only if investment is there to propagate good ideas and scale them up.
