Assuming they are not still-born, it will be worth keeping your eyes on the development of Social Impact Bonds. In 10 years time we'll see Margaret Hodge's successor at the PAC drilling public servants as to how they managed to get their "trousers taken down" so comprehensively by private sector providers of SIB capital - so few real social outcomes, so much money paid out. SIBs - PFI for the 21st century.
