Charity IT Conference

Charity IT Conference

Events | 11 Nov 2009

The fourth annual Charity IT Conference 2009 returns to explore both some of the inspirational and exciting developments in technology and its use across a wide range of charitable organisations, as well its role as an enabler of change – whether of internal working practices or in service delivery.

With sessions aimed both at technicians and strategic managers your Charity IT Conference this year looks at the differing roles technology plays across the breadth of the organisation from frontline services to back-office processes with speakers from a wide range of smaller and larger charities.

Panel Discussion

1635

What is the future of IT in the modern charity? And what room is there for it in a recession?

Technology now plays a greater role in modern charities than ever before. From improving services to increasing member involvement and making staff more productive IT, it seems, provides the answers. But with so much choice how can organisations pick the best system... and when money is tight is a wholly outsourced IT department really a viable solution? More significantly,
who should be in charge of IT when it affects so many parts of the charity? Our panel of experts decide.
