The Charity Law Association (CLA) was set up in 1992 to provide a platform for charity lawyers to meet and exchange ideas.
CLA currently has around 885 members. Members benefit from quarterly member meetings at which topical charity law and related issues are presented and discussed.
CLA membership also allows members to sign up to the Legislation Monitoring Service for Charities, operated by Charity Tax Group, at reduced rates.
The current chairman is Alison Paines, the head of Charities and Philanthropy Group at Withers.
