Shaw Trust is the UK’s largest third sector provider and one of the Government’s lead partners in the delivery of employment programmes for disabled and disadvantaged people. It is a national charity dedicated to providing support for disabled people in their search for, and preparation for work, enabling them to lead more independent lives.

It offers skills development, training and personal training, as well as support to stay in work. It offers social care services, such as alternative day care centres offering vocational and leisure activities. It also provides young people services for those with disabilities, health problems, additional educational needs, and those who are facing exclusion and young offenders, offering them a taste of work through placements, and an understanding of the need for education and development.

Shaw Trust also works with businesses, helping them to recruit and manage people with disabilities. It supports businesses to reduce costs, meet corporate social responsibilities and achieve legal obligations, to create an inclusive workplace.
