The Prince’s Trust is funding youth development programmes - seeing the connection between criminal offences and youth unemployment and scholastic underachievement and disintegrating support systems.

Its notable team and business programmes offer 12 weeks of work experience, national qualifications and financial support for young entrepreneurs.

Found in 1976, the Trust looks at trends in youth culture and lifestyle to predict gaps in support systems. As a researching body, it has recently reported on the effects of economic fluctuations on youth and young adults entering the workforce.
