Action for Children is committed to helping the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK to break through injustice, deprivation and inequality, in order that they can achieve their full potential. It supports nearly 1,569,000 young people and their families via nearly 420 projects across the UK. It is the leading UK provider of family and community centres, children’s services in rural areas, services for disabled children and their families, and services for young people leaving care. It promotes social injustice by lobbying and campaigning for change. It also supports work in Southern Africa, the Caribbean and Central America.
