The Children’s Society has developed into a support system for children without. The charity counsels and cares for children in trouble with the law, children at risk on the streets and children affected by adult substance abuse.
The society also extends its support to disabled children, young refugees, young carers, and ‘gypsy’ children. The charity has built children’s centres to aid in its provision of post-adoptive care.
Via its research group, the charity published The Good Childhood Inquiry, a book discussing the effects of individualism on youth behaviour.
