The Charity Awards 2012 was another spectacular evening, where charities, celebrities and sector leaders came together to recognise inspirational work.

The HALO Trust was recognised as the overall winner of the 2012 Charity Awards for an awe-inspiring landmine clearance campaign in Sri Lanka, which has enabled 190,000 people to return safely to their homes. You can read about their project and all the other winners from the night here.
